“If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book.”

~J.K. Rowling

I finally found the right book after a long search! As I had promised you all, that I'll read some non-fiction book, so I started 2022 with this inspirational book👇

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Arun Tiwari wrote "Wings of Fire: Abdul Kalam's Autobiography". This book tells the story of a self-assured boy who aspires to become an air force officer.

The first scene takes place in the 1930s when Dr. Kalam is a small child living with his parents, one sister, and four brothers. He was raised in a positive environment. Everyone around him was in contentment.

**Spoiler Alert**

Every evening, his father would take him to the mosque, and his mother would feed the poor on a routine basis. He was friends with Ramanadha Sastry, the son of the highest-paid Rameswaram priest, Lakshman Sastry.

Ramanadha Sastry and Sir Kalam were sitting on the same bench at school one day. The teacher couldn't stand the thought of a Muslim youngster sitting next to a priest's son, so he separated them and assigned Kalam to the last bench. The boys told their parents about it. The next day, Lakshman Sastry was in school, right in front of the teacher who had committed this offense. Being a priest, he did not believe in social discrimination.

These were the people he grew up with, and this was the environment in which he grew up.

Ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review: This book tells us about Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's pleasant co-workers and pioneers at ISRO and DRDO.

He has also emphasized upon his pioneers, such as his father, brother-in-law Jalaluddin, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, and Dr. Satish Dhawan.

It also narrates about Dr. Kalam's scientific accomplishment. A little more emphasis on his life story, in my opinion, could have been placed.

Nevertheless, this book has greatly motivated me and has also assisted me in expanding my vocabulary.

So currently I'm reading "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and hope to complete it soon. That's it for today's post, hope y'all liked it! ☺
